SUPER-SOBER
SUPER-SOBER is a game by Slim. Made for the Gamedevjs Jam 2025.
Theme: Balance.
Balance the character with drunk controls and try to reach home.
Inspired by an old Flash game I played when I was younger. Also inspired by games like Getting Over It and QWOP.
The player will face different obstacles, characters and two whole directions to explore.
Learn with each attempt and unlock different endings. Challenge yourself with the easy to understand, but hard to master drunk controls.
Features a whole new way to control the character with controls made from the ground up.
Made with Godot 4.4.

EDIT: The game turned out to be a little harder than expected on the Web Player version (because of complex stuff with the mouse movement).
The game is completely beatable on both versions. But, the Windows Version is the one that was playtested the most, and represents better the level of difficulty that was intended.

I played enough to get 1 ending, SPOILER:
Walk forward until you get to the blue bus, grab the ticket and walk all the way backwards past the start until you fall down to a lower area, there will be a bus stop. Use the ticket at the stop to get "true ending". Kinda funny that the first ending I get is the "true ending".

This game is a true Gem! There is a lot of mistery and fun dialogues to anyone who can persevere through the hard mechanics. Its more than a rage game, it's an experience... and remember, don't do drugs

Damn this game is unforgiving ... and yet quite accurate.
Only thing missing is attempting to drink while you're stumbling home.
